Part Time Acupuncturist/ Chinese herbalist position

Whole Body Healing, Acupuncture and Wellness is looking to bring on another licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist to work in our office. We are a small multi-practitioner acupuncture office located in Northampton, Massachusetts. Elizabeth Girard, DACM, L.Ac. opened Whole Body Healing in 2008 and has continued to grow the practice. The office has 5 treatment rooms plus a room with an infrared sauna for patients and staff to use. We work with all different pain conditions as well as internal issues such as women's health and anxiety. We are looking for someone who primarily practices TCM-style acupuncture and herbs. We do a lot of cupping and massage along with acupuncture, so the practitioner must be familiar with both. Knowledge of nutritional supplements is a plus. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to see patients and get support in a multi-practitioner acupuncture practice. The position is for 3 days a week with possible weekend hours if desired. Monday 9-3, Wednesday 12-7, Friday 12-7. Pay is an hourly wage plus commission per patient seen averaging about $40-$80 an hour (depending on how many patients you see at a time). You will have access to use up to 3 rooms. We have an office manager and a receptionist that will be there most days with an online scheduling and payment system set up. We accept most health insurance and are very busy. Must be an outgoing, hard-working, team player, and willing to learn! Ideally we are looking for at least a year commitment. Applicate must have at least a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Applicant must already have their license to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbs in Massachusetts.
