Our mom is 101 years old! She will be moving to a 2-bedroom apartment, with one bdrm set aside for her caretaker. The caretaker will be responsible for her care and companionship for 5 days a week. MUST COMMIT TO 6 MONTHS Min!
Duties including, but not limited to help with personal care needs and cooking/serving meals, and activities of daily living, such as getting out of bed and into a wheelchair, bathing, dressing, grooming, using the toilet, eating, and moving around or just watching TV. She will also need someone just to check on her periodically. Anyone hired for this position will need to have some experience caring for the elderly, and must know how or learn to use a hoyer lift for patient transfers from bed to wheelchair to bathroom.
