The Archives offers specialty cocktails in a unique setting, and is now seeking a Barback/ Host to join our team in in providing friendly, professional service to our guests.
The Barback position is responsible for assisting bartenders with busing, cleaning, ingredient preparation, and other elements of service as needed.
The Host position is responsible for greeting and seating guests, assisting with cleaning, and other elements of service as needed.
This is a part-time position with significant hands-on, front-line responsibility, working collaboratively within a small business. The position schedule includes substantial evening and weekend hours and occasional holidays. Applicants with experience working in a bar / venue setting and with TIPS certification preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to function efficiently as part of a small team in a high volume setting are essential. The position reports to the Bar Manager.
