Our online summer school is for Chinese students who just finished the 7th grade, and we're seeking a teacher for a class on Climate Change. We provide the curriculum.
August 1-19 Sunday evening through Thursday evening (That's Mon-Fri mornings in China). You'll teach two 40-minute classes, five days a week for three weeks. Each class has around 15 students. Classes are at 8:20 - 9:00 and 9:05 - 9:45 pm Eastern Time. You will receive $1150 for the entire program.
We're looking for someone with experience teaching middle school or high school, and prefer that you have some experience teaching students whose first language is not English. You don't need to be a science teacher to handle this class. The curriculum is there for you and easy to understand.
We have a campus in Wendell, MA, where students usually come from China for the summer, but because of Covid, last year and this year we are dong the summer program online. Check us out at kemsley.org.
