Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the detail-oriented Services industry based in Westborough, Massachusetts. In this role, you will handle tasks related to invoice processing, ACH transactions, and various other projects. This role presents an intriguing long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Accurately process invoice data entries in a timely manner Conduct account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy Efficiently handle Accounts Payable (AP) duties Carry out ACH transactions with precision and due diligence Assist with coding invoices as per the established guidelines Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis Perform check runs to ensure smooth operations Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks Contribute to other projects as required by the team Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation, able to efficiently identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP), familiar with the end-to-end process and best practices Ability to conduct Check Runs, ensuring all payments are made in a timely and accurate manner Skilled in Coding Invoices, categorizing expenses correctly for accurate financial reporting Strong Data Entry skills, able to input large volumes of information quickly and accurately Experience in Invoice Processing, able to handle invoices from receipt to payment Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to use advanced functions for financial analysis and reporting Familiarity with Oracle, able to navigate and use the system efficiently for financial tasks Experience using QuickBooks for accounting tasks, including recording transactions and generating reports Knowledge of SAP, able to use the system for various financial tasks including AP processing and reporting.
