As a Program Manager with Formulary Strategy and Operations, you will assume a highly visible role within the Trade organization that drives strategic initiatives and operational execution in support of critical processes and core business operations. As the pharmacy benefit landscape changes with new high-cost therapies, increasing pressure to reduce pharmacy costs, and the evolving policy landscape, the CVS Health Trade team is looking to tackle these challenges head-on to best provide high-quality, low-cost healthcare for our clients and patients. The right person for this role is a highly motivated, organized individual who can balance engagement in various high-priority initiatives. You will work closely across a variety of business units and levels to ensure successful identification, development, management, and ultimately completion of tasks required to deliver on key operational processes and initiatives. You will develop processes, status dashboards, and other tools to deliver actionable insights and reports to Formulary Strategy and Operations leadership and the broader Trade organization. The role will entail working with internal Trade and cross-functional partners to develop tools, provide program management, and liaise with teams supporting reporting to deliver critical reports and ad hoc strategic analyses. Primary responsibilities:

Partner with the Executive Director of Formulary Strategy and Operations to manage strategic initiatives for the Trade Team, including working in a cross-functional team environment on multiple projects simultaneously.

Develop foundational materials to proactively define and manage projects such as charters, status trackers, and project management frameworks.

Ensure the end state of various projects meets business objectives and that all deliverables and due dates are met; proactively identify issues that may stall project and works with relevant partners to address such issues.

Manage key governance for the Formulary Strategy and Operations team, such as weekly team meetings and project status checkpoints.

Manage repository of Trade reports in MS Teams including but not limited to access governance, report inventory tracking, FAQs, and intake of new reports.

Support framing of decks/analyses for an executive-level audience, including managing working with cross-functional partners to identify any data needs.

Upkeep reporting and documentation on file-sharing tools as needed (i.e. Teams, SharePoint, etc.).

3+ years of experience leading large, cross-functional projects within healthcare/PBM, account services, customer service, or related industry

Excellent project management skills with ability to lead and engage in multiple projects and initiatives and appropriately, prioritize her/his own time, and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines

Experience holding project teams accountable and driving projects to completion

Excellent organization and time management skills

Mature decision-making, analytical, oral and written communication, and presentation skills; advanced MS office skills

Highest level of attention to detail when working within legal and compliance regulations, while working with sensitive, confidential, and protected data

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.

Experience in healthcare or managed care, which may include PBM, pharma, retail/specialty pharmacy, hospital, market access, account management, or health plan experience.

Experience using lean process tools and leading process improvement exercises.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business operations, healthcare management, or related field required

MBA, Master’s Degree, or PhD preferred

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$63,300.00 - $139,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
