Description To be successful at this Accountant position, you should be someone who creates spreadsheets in your sleep, be looking to find your place in the accounting field. Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Accountant with a highly successful organization. You will be reviewing financial statements with a heavy data entry component in this position. Candidates for this entry-level position should be Excel enthusiasts, interested in spreadsheet creation and manipulation. Executing other related duties and partaking in special projects as assigned
Perform data entry
Assisting with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies
Prepare journal entries monthly
Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audit
Reconciling and leveling general ledger accounts Requirements - Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
Employer requires 1 year of accounting experience
An AA or BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business suggested
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
Deep understanding of numeric data entry
Comprehensive knowledge of Purchase Orders
Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Strong communication and social skills
