Description: Actalent is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data reviews for the release of products, including raw materials, in-process, and finished products, following standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role involves maintaining the quality control document system and supporting the investigation team by compiling or reviewing data.Key Responsibilities:
Perform data review for the release of products, including raw materials, in-process, and finished products, following SOPs.
Maintain the quality control document system and help compile data reports.
Review batch data for the release of GMP materials.
Author and edit test procedures and SOPs.
Support the investigation team by compiling or reviewing data.
Write deviations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Skills:
Proficiency with HPLC, GC, GC/MS, ICP-MS, NMR, LIMS, data review, documentation, analytical chemistry, and GMP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific concentration.
Three (3) or more years of technical experience with GC, GC/MS, ICP-MS, LC/MS, NMR, or HPLC. QC and GMP experience preferred.
Hands-on experience with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) or laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is strongly preferred.
