The RN/LPN will work directly with the Director of Nursing in providing guidance and direction to ancillary staff in both clinical and personnel issues.Requirements:Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsMust be physically active with the ability to lift, bend, push, pullEducation and/ or Experience:Current Nursing LicensePrior Long-Term Care experience preferredResponsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents.
Provide assessment of the residents’ conditions and respond accordingly
Work with other members of the facility interdisciplinary team.
Maintain effective communication with other staff to assure the highest standard of care is maintained for each resident.
Complete reports such as changes in residents condition report, incident and accident reports, etc.
Provide immediate response to situations of resident risk such as allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property.
Ensure timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
Care for the physical and psychosocial needs of older adults. Focus on maximizing patients’ functional abilities, as well as promoting, maintaining, and restoring their physical and mental health.
