Vital Voyage LLC is actively seeking dedicated and professional NEMT Transport Drivers for part-time to full-time positions to join our growing team. Our mission is to provide safe, punctual, and compassionate transportation services to clients attending medical appointments and adult-day programs. We are currently hiring drivers for the 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM Early Morning Shift to ensure timely transportation of patients for their treatments and appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients and their belongings to and from their medical appointments.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed and ensuring their comfort during transit.
- Safely operate vehicles (sedans) according to company policies and traffic regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance needed.
- Adhere strictly to scheduled times while maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.
- Follow instructions and safety guidelines to ensure a smooth and professional service.
- Utilize GPS navigation efficiently to provide timely service.
- Document trips accurately, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to commercial driving.
- Maintain Professional Conduct: Exhibit politeness, professionalism, and courtesy in all interactions with clients. Refrain from using inappropriate language, cuss words, or engaging in unprofessional conversations, ensuring a respectful and positive experience for all.
Requirements:
- Must reside in Bristol County, Norfolk County, or nearby areas.
- Previouse NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) driving experience is highly preferred
- Experience in commercial driving roles, such as delivery driver, shuttle driver, or bus driver - is also welcome
- Fluent in English and capable of using GPS.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A clean driving record with at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Must pass a CORI/SORI background check, Drug Test including Marijuana, and DOT Medical Exam.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- No more than 2 violation points per year on driving record.
- No DUI, at-fault accidents, or moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- A flexible schedule, including some weekends.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, co-workers, and management.
- Reliability and a sense of urgency in providing exceptional service.
