The leasing associate's primary responsibility is the performance of all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.
You will generally be the first point of contact with prospective residents & current residents.
This position will tour, qualify and sell the property's features to prospective residents.
Manage the leasing, closing and move in process with our new residents.
Initial questions most likely come through you first. You must be quick to determine the customer's needs, resolve and/or escalate to a higher level as permitted. Fostering new relationships with our prospective residents is vital to success in this position. Using your strong administrative and computer skills, this position will manage various tasks, such as managing lease files, updating necessary paperwork and computer systems, completing marketing/advertising tasks, updating social media sites, must be fluent in written and oral English.
Weekends are required; must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and some holidays.
Assist with company's on-going relationship with the residents throughout their tenancy
Performs all of the above in accordance with applicable laws and company policies
Requirements:
-Leasing residential real estate/sales experience preferred
-Reliable transportation as this position may require travel
-Must be familiar with all applications of Microsoft Office
-Must have reliable transportation
-Demonstrated strong organizational skills & excellent communication skills
-Trustworthy
-Friendly, reliable, hardworking
-Knowledge of all office equipment (fax, computer, telephone, copier)
-Maintains an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in areas
such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage
Performs all of the above in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
