Responsibilities:
Receiving all incoming packages and examining contents
Comparing packages with the purchase orders
Assigning receiving lot number
Recording information into the system
Preparing any incoming inspection paperwork required
Receive material and label all items with lot number as needed
Notify quality department of incoming product that needs inspection
Report damages and any discrepancies of items coming in
Assembling boxes as needed for shipments going out
Prepare shipments using spacers, fillers and protective padding
Verify shipping paperwork matches the outgoing shipment
Maintain up to date log of customer requirements for packaging
Keep track of shipping supplies and order as needed
Qualifications:
Previous shipping and receiving experience
Good attention to detail
Proficient in Word and Excel
The hours are:
Monday through Friday – 8am to 4:30pm
The pay is up to $19.00 an hour based on experience
