M.NEVES INC., is currently interviewing for a landscape maintenance supervisor. The list below is a general outline of the job description:
- Early AM oversight of crew roll out ensuring vehicles & equipment are in safe operating order
- Confirming attendance of crew members
- Reviewing daily routes, schedule, tasks & expectations w/foreman
- Collecting daily DOT inspection logs from each foreman, review for accuracy and any listed concerns
- Review equipment, vehicle and DOT log issues with shop mechanic. Follow up to ensure issues are resolved
- Inspection of trailers, vehicles and equipment daily
- Ensure crew members are in uniform
- Ensure all employees are held accountable for equipment, vehicles & overall performance
- Step in with production as needed
- Training of existing employees and onboarding of new employees
- Constant recruitment of new employees, onboarding and employee retention
- Maintaining a viable staff, mentoring and promoting growth opportunities for employees
- Oversight & inventory of all maintenance related materials
- Manage bulk mix fuel inventory
- Oversight & stocking of crew trailers ensuring trailers are maintained in an organized and standard manner
- Inventory of small equipment
- Oversight of yard ensuring compost and branch piles are maintained correctly
- Assist with mulch & aggregate orders
- Assist with shop inventory and organization
- Assist at yard when necessary may include screening aggregates & loam
- Upselling existing accounts with enhancements
- Sale leads of new projects including commercial and other venues
- Oversight of production, quality of service, deadlines, customer retention, growth of maintenance department, & meeting financial goals
- Maintaining safety practices
- Assist with scheduling of enhancement & contractual work
- Provide daily production recap report for all maintenance crews
- Active participation in snow operations or potential reallocation for winter months to Florida branch
- Assist with upgrading and procurement of new equipment
