Cap, back-strip, and solder dip parts according to required specifications.
Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the plating preparation and solder dip processes.
Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately prepare parts for plating.
Achieve applied and earned production rates to standard.
Perform basic inspections according to visual standards.
Complete preventive maintenance requirements (stripping plating racks between runs) and alert engineering and maintenance personnel to needed repairs.
Perform continuity checks to ensure correct wiring techniques and to identify rack issues.
Complete work with strict adherence to work instructions and detail sheets.
