Description We are working with a start-up company looking to add a Senior Accountant to report directly to the CFO. This company is willing to be aggressive with compensation in order to find the right candidate, including possible equity.The Senior accountant will own the general ledger, accounts receivable and revenue recognition. This will be a wear many hats position and requires a well-rounded accountant with the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of GL, AR, invoicing, budget tracking and revenue experience. Any public accounting is great to have as well. This company is experiencing dramatic growth, so previous experience in a start-up or growth environment is ideal. The Senior Accountant must have a degree in finance or accounting.Any experience as a revenue accountant in a SAAS environment would be great to have. 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

Well-founded grasp of general ledger

General familiarity with QuickBooks

Expertise in revenue recognition

Code Invoices experience

Fixed assets experience

Proven knowledge of capital assets

SAAS experience

Foundational knowledge in Invoice reconciliation

Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

Skilled with ERP systems

The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

Be detailed, flexible, and organized

Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
