Description We are searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Shrewsbury MA , Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices and credits, maintaining vendor and customer accounts, and assisting with payroll processing.Responsibilities: Oversee the entire Accounts Payable function, including the processing of invoices and credits. Conduct thorough research for appropriate documentation and approvals to resolve discrepancies. Monitor vendor and customer accounts to ensure payments are made in accordance with terms. Set up new vendor and customer accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is acquired and any missing information is obtained. Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal clients in a timely and professional manner. Conduct weekly check runs and process 1099s. Assist internal clients with inquiries and research to ensure smooth operations. Aid in payroll processing tasks, including time and attendance tracking, personal and direct deposit changes, and processing of garnishments. Demonstrate an understanding of accounting cycles, debits/credits, and full cycle (M-B-C & check run). Utilize ERP and Excel skills to ensure accurate record-keeping and data analysis.Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Accounts Payable or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Experience with account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP) Familiarity with check runs, coding invoices, and data entry Ability to process invoices efficiently and accurately Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.For immmediate consideration pleasr reach out to me asap Eric Lebow 508-205-2127 Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
