AP/AR Specialist

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an AP/AR Specialist based in the GREATER Shrewsbury, Massachusetts area. The role is centered around meticulous data entry, maintaining files, processing checks, and communicating with vendors. The successful candidate will be part of a team that ensures the smooth running of our accounts payable and receivable operations. (pref experience in the NFP sector)Responsibilities: Accurately process data entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable Maintain and update files and source documents related to payables and receivables Manage daily online check deposits Facilitate regular federal and state check runs Keep track of purchase orders for status and tracking Review purchase orders at month-end for accruals Complete monthly vendor checklist Provide clerical support to accountants including entry into accounts receivables systems Facilitate vendor setup and maintain documentation for all vendors Distribute mail to the finance department and monitor AP email mailbox Maintain a well-organized file system for the finance department.AP/AR Specialist For immediate consideration, please reach out directly. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk Proficient in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Must have skills in Billing and Data Entry Prior experience in Invoice Processing required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must Knowledge and experience with Accounts receivables systems Experience in handling Aging Accounts Must be capable of managing Weekly Account Payable Proficiency in using Abila MIP software is required.For immediate consideration, please reach out directly.
