Description Job Title: Temp Real Estate ParalegalJob Description:We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This role involves supporting our firm's attorneys in preparing for closings, coordinating and managing real estate transactions, and maintaining and organizing legal documents.Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing for closings, which may include drafting real estate documents, conducting title searches, and managing transaction checklists.
Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties in the transaction to facilitate smooth and prompt closings.
Manage and coordinate all aspects of real estate transactions, from the contract negotiation stage up to the closing.
Conduct legal research regarding property deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and plat maps.
Organize, maintain, and update physical and digital real estate records to ensure accurate documentation.
Assist attorneys by drafting and reviewing legal documentation, contracts, and agreements.
Ensure all documents and tasks - like filing of deeds or mortgages and recording of legal documents - are completed timely and accurately.
Requirements - Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers
Ability to take ownership of projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing
Proficiency in commercial real estate
Earlier work involving real estate transfers
Adeptness in real estate leasing
Real Estate Appraisal experience highly preferred
Command of private real estate
General familiarity with title real estate
Foundational knowledge in real estate
Condominium real estate experience highly desired
Solid understanding of commercial real estate
Practical knowledge of residential real estate
Demonstrated knowledge of subdivision real estate
Background working with real estate law
Constant attention to detail and accuracy, confidentiality
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
Should possess a thorough knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
