Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Project Assistant in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Roxbury, Massachusetts. This role will primarily involve providing support to our team in managing commercial properties. Responsibilities: Assist in the management of commercial properties to ensure optimal functionality and satisfaction of tenants. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to manage and track property details. Coordinate and oversee property maintenance projects and ensure their timely completion. Assist in the precertification process for potential tenants and manage related documentation. Communicate effectively with tenants, property owners, and team members to address and resolve any issues. Assist in creating and managing budgets for property management operations. Maintain updated records of all property-related activities and transactions. Attend real estate meetings and events for networking and staying updated on industry trends. Collaborate with the team to devise strategies for improving property management processes. Perform other related duties as assigned by the management. Requirements Must have a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field Proven experience in the Real Estate & Property industry, preferably as a Project Assistant Proficiency in property management software, including Yardi and OneSite Experience in Commercial Property Management is essential Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Precertification processes in the real estate sector Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
