Description:

Design, develop, test and maintain embedded software systems

Write code for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and hardware components

Manage memory, system integration, and hardware-software interfaces

Develop software requirements

Code development

Debug & troubleshoot software-related issues for optimal performance

Develop and maintain device drivers for hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C)

Develop and maintain aerospace interfaces (ARINC429, ARINC717, QAR, Protocols)

Hardware integration

Test development

Skills:

C/C+

Embedded Software development/test

Bare metal

Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C

Standards: ARINC429, ARINC717, QAR, ISO, Mil-STD, AS9100, AS9102, DO326, DO-178

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering

5+ years in embedded software development in a regulated industry; DO-17 preferred

C/C embedded software programming

Software debugging

GIT, JIRA

Experience with requirements management systems (DOORS)
