The Community Living Supervisor is responsible for supervising and
implementing an array of services to enrich the lives of people with
developmental disabilities. Services include, but are not limited to,
case management, transportation, the development of social
relationships, and providing support in the areas of recreational,
therapeutic, and personal living skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES 1. Oversee the
day to day operation of the program (staff scheduling, medical
appointments, community activities, maintenance, vehicles, menu
planning, etc. 2. Trains, supervises and evaluates residential staff in
conjunction with the C.O.C.L./Residential Coordinator II. Participates
in interviewing and hiring new staff. 3. Supervise, support, and
maintain the safety of individuals. 4. Provide relevant training or
assistance to individuals as identified in their ISP and/or as needed in
life routines. Specific ?training? may be in: communication skills,
personal hygiene, daily living skills, recreation, and/or other skills
as determined by the individual?s ISP. 5. Monitor and implement service
plans throughout the day including behavioral and therapeutic
requirements. 6. Provide case management responsibilities and/or service
documentation requirements as assigned and defined by the
C.O.C.L./Residential Coordinator II. 7. Facilitate monthly staff and
house meetings. 8. Provide counseling and assistance as necessary to aid
people in adapting to a new work place or other community environments
9. Attend required In-services. 10. Provide or facilitate transportation
arrangements optimally using natural supports. 11. Perform all duties in
conformance to, or in recognition of existing Agency policies and
procedures including the personnel Manual. 12. Assist individuals with
medical appointments as necessary. 13. Monitor individual?s medical
needs as well as doctor?s orders, medication sheets, diets, etc. 14.
Ensure required documentation is completed including but not limited to
Progress Notes; program data; medication; cleaning checklist; Daily
Log/Staff Communication; finances; time slips, etc. 15. Assume various
other and related duties as assigned by the C.O.C.L./Residential
Coordinator II. 16. Where necessary, serve as a communication link
between residents, family members, guardians and other service
providers. 17. Assist in the management of the program budget and
financial record keeping to ensure accuracy and compliance. Community
Living Supervisor (ABI, RES, & APT.): Schedules vary, all full time, ABI
& RES $21.75/hr, APT 21/hr. Locations: Taunton, Plymouth, Norton,
Dighton.
