Job DescriptionThe Development Engineer provides economical solutions to create & improve processes for the manufacture of wire & cable. This position interacts with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Cable Assembly Engineering, Manufacturing, Test Laboratories, raw material suppliers and equipment manufacturers.Responsibilities include:
Process Development/Implementation/Documentation Tape, Cable, Braid
Support Product Development/Design Engineering activities.
Interact with test lab on process/product qualification activities DOE, PFMEA, 8D, FA
Tooling Specification & Design.
Product / Process Validation & Transfer
Manufacturing Equipment Specification & Design concept, qualification, FAT
