Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Staff Accountant in NORTH BILLERICA, Massachusetts, 01862-0132, United States. The successful candidate will be joining our team to handle tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, assisting in month-end close, billing, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting and closings. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Record journal entries for income, expenses, accruals, and other financial activities. Assist in the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reports. Manage billing and invoicing processes. Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy. Use skills in Accruals, Journal Entries, and Account Reconciliation to improve and maintain financial health. Ensure compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to share information, clarify transactions, and drive efficient processes.Requirements Entry-level position in the accounting field. Proficiency in making accruals is required. Experience in creating journal entries is mandatory. Familiarity with account reconciliation processes is essential. A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail are necessary. Strong analytical abilities to analyze financial data effectively. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Good communication skills for reporting financial information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills are required. Must adhere to all company policies and accounting principles and laws for accuracy and compliance. Willingness to continuously improve accounting skills and knowledge. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
