Description OFFICE MANAGER - Looking to break into the sports industry? Our client is seeking a dynamic professional looking to assist wherever they can. This role oversees financial records and human resource functions. Some of the bookkeeping duties include maintaining and updating financial records, reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements, ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations, and coordinating with external auditors for annual audits. Besides the financial duties, this role also handles HR responsibilities such as administering employee benefits, maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The presence of this role helps to ensure effective HR practices in line with the club's operations and mission.

Bachelor's Degree

3-5+ years of professional experience in administrative, bookkeeping and HR, preferably in a nonprofit setting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and HRIS systems, preferred

Strong understanding of financial regulations and HR best practices.

Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and grant management, preferred

Requirements Proficiency in managing Benefit Functions within an organization

Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Proven experience in Employee Relations and conflict resolution Familiarity with Hiring Processes, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding Ability to effectively use an HR Payroll System Basic Bookkeeping skills for managing office finances Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
