​​​​​​​NBC Boston is seeking an Assignment Desk Editor. What You'll Do:Enterprise story ideas for coverage and interview subjectsAssign crews to news stories and provide support for complete coverage, including research, contact information, phone calls, video etc.Coordinate feeds and media sharing with affiliatesMonitor all changing and developing news stories from news wires, social media, scanners, contacts, public relations, phone calls, faxes, and viewer suggestionsCommunicate with production staff and management on the status of coverage and storiesEstablish network of contacts and sources across the Boston DMAOther duties and responsibilities as assigned
