Events Manager

White Elephant Resorts is currently seeking an Events Manager for the Wauwinet Inn.  The Wauwinet is a Relais & Chateaux property, and a recipient of the AAA Five Diamond Award for TOPPER’S Restaurant.This position is a year-round position for benefits purposes working 10 months of the year March 1st – December 31st.Relocation to Nantucket required.The Events Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of events and conferences at the hotel. Primarily, the Events Manager will act as the point person for clients, detailing of events, executing weddings and corporate meetings, all while working within the TOPPER’S food and beverage team.  The ideal candidate would be focused on creating amazing moments for event clients, be flexible to a varied schedule and a strong communicator. The Events Manager will be required to produce complete Banquet Event Orders and floor plans to ensure proper execution of the entire event including Food & Beverage, timeline, coordination of vendors and complete production of the event. The Events Manager is also expected to assist with regular F&B operations at TOPPER’S during regular hours and Holidays.  May also assist with events at other White Elephant Resorts locations.
