Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions and peer and family support to facilitate engagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals and to assist individuals in developing skills, establishing natural supports and resources to live successfully in the community.The Occupational Therapy Assistant works with Mobile Teams to provide direct service, and program consultation for engagement of people in plans for skills training to enhance successful community integration. Under the guidance of an OTR/L, the Occupational Therapy Assistant may also gather data and report back for the purpose of assessment. Demonstrated high-level skills in clinical assessment and treatment of individuals with mental illness including proficiency in psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-oriented services required.

Demonstrated skills in clinical training required.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) and the ability to make effective public presentations.

Must have a valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.

Required Experience

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with at least five years of related clinical experience.
