This is a remote position that will ideally be based within the Pacific time zone.The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for day-to-day sales operations for LGC Clinical Diagnostics Division within an assigned territory. The AM will drive sales growth and long-term business relationships with end-user accounts for our diagnostic and genomics product lines. The AM will work with the territory’s Account Executive to build a comprehensive business strategy for the territory. This position is home-based.Key ResponsibilitiesEach territory will be covered in tandem by one Account Manager and one Account Executive.Develop consultative relationships with new and existing account base for all products.Achieves assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.Maintain detailed understanding of all products and their relevance and application in the Clinical Laboratory space.Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, customer service, accounting, logistics and technical support groups.Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.Update and maintain current Customer Relations Management database.Continue education on product advantages to ensure customer loyalty.Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.Develops him/herself to be the trusted advisor to our customers.Maintains high customer satisfaction that meets company standards.Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned period.Attend tradeshows in or out of assigned territory as requested.
