Description Our client is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented bilingual Referral Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our patients receive the specialty services they need while maintaining compliance with our Patient Center Medical Home requirements.As a Bilingual Referral Specialist, you will work under the supervision of the Patient Services Supervisor to ensure that patients are cleared for specialty service visits. This role involves managing all medical referrals, processing prior authorizations, scheduling appointments, and tracking referrals to guarantee patient safety and compliance with our standards. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other clinic Referral Specialists, Clinicians, and support staff as an integral part of our healthcare team. This is a 100% IN OFFICE position Key Responsibilities:

Referral Processing: Manage all aspects of medical referrals, including verification, authorization, and documentation to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Prior Authorizations: Process and obtain prior authorizations as required by insurance providers for specialty services.

Scheduling: Schedule appointments for patients with specialty providers and coordinate necessary follow-up care.

Tracking: Monitor the progress of referrals, ensuring that patients receive timely appointments and follow-up care, and keeping accurate records.

Compliance: Ensure that all referral processes adhere to Patient Center Medical Home requirements and other relevant regulations.

Collaboration: Work closely with other clinic Referral Specialists, Clinicians, and support staff to facilitate seamless patient care.

Must be bilingual in both Spanish and English

Previous experience in healthcare or medical referral coordination preferred.

MUST be bilingual in Spanish

Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is an advantage.
