Sr Director, Mergers and Acquisition QualityMarlborough, MA, United StatesSan Diego, CA, United StatesJob Overview:The Senior Director of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Quality is an integral part of the global Quality leadership team. This role is responsible for developing strategies, tools, and processes to ensure quality during the due diligence and integration phases of acquisitions across Hologic. As the quality representative on the Corporate cross-functional M&A team, you will ensure that the highest quality standards are adhered to throughout all M&A activities. This position requires collaboration with Division Quality (M&A) and other cross-functional teams to evaluate, plan, and execute quality assurance processes related to mergers, acquisitions, and integrations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), M&A processes, project management, and enterprise-wide strategic thinking.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement enterprise-wide tools and processes for due diligence and integration, working closely with Division Quality and Corporate M&A teams.
Manage multiple M&A deals as the quality program manager, providing support as needed.
Conduct comprehensive quality assessments and due diligence on potential acquisition targets, identifying quality risks and opportunities.
Create detailed quality integration plans that align with the company’s strategic goals to ensure seamless transitions.
Identify and mitigate quality-related risks throughout the M&A lifecycle, including pre-acquisition, post-acquisition, and integration phases.
Prepare and present detailed reports on quality assessments, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with division quality, corporate quality, and IT teams to identify opportunities and challenges with QMS integration.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure a holistic approach to quality in M&A activities.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives and KPIs to enhance the quality and efficiency of M&A processes.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to keep the company’s M&A quality processes cutting-edge and compliant.
Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in M&A, quality assurance, or a related field.
Proven track record of managing quality in M&A transactions, particularly in the medical device or life sciences industry.
Skills:
Strong influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proven ability to develop enterprise-wide tools and processes.
Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of M&A processes and quality assurance methodologies.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems (e.g., Excel, data analysis tools).
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP, CFA).
Experience in the medical device and/or life sciences technology sectors.
Familiarity with international M&A transactions and global quality standards.

Role is located in Marlborough, MA or San Diego, CAThe annualized base salary range for this role is 183,900-326,800 and is bonus eligible.
