Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the consumer goods distribution industry, located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be overseeing a dynamic team while actively participating in the General Ledger and Monthly close procedures. You will play a key role in fostering the development of entry level staff and managing inventory reporting within a distribution setting. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the General Ledger Coordinate the Monthly close processes Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions Maintain accurate inventory management and reporting Foster the detail oriented development of entry level staff Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit function Ensure compliance with budget processes Monitor and manage the monthly consolidation of financial data.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated experience in Auditing Well-versed in Budget Processes Ability to manage Asset Inventory Proficiency in General Ledger management Experience in Monthly Consolidation Familiarity with Monthly Close ProcessesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
