Program ManagerFull TimeProfessionalMansfield, MA, USJob Title: Program ManagerDepartment: OperationsReports to: VP, Operations Job Summary and Objectives:The Program Manager (PM) at company’s  Massachusetts site is a customer-facing role that coordinates various projects and resources for successfully meeting mutually agreed to expectations with customers and company-wide goals. Working in a matrixed organization, the PM will collaborate with all internal departments and represent company as the customer’s primary point of contact.  The PM will be responsible for project planning and management, customer communications, internal team coordination around goals and objectives of various projects, manage budgets, manage escalation activities, and report on performance of various projects, escalating needs proactively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Effectively functions as the primary point of contact for existing customers with active development and manufacturing programsManage and lead projects in a matrixed organization across all company’s functions and other  companies when appropriateDevelop evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify and recommend areas for improvementManage projects assigned involving complex electro-mechanical medical device development, manufacturing, and servicing Manage multiple related projects and project interdependenciesDefine mutually agreeable KPIs with customers and internal teams and measure program performance and success according to those KPIsResolve projects’ higher scope issues; escalate and recommend solutions with a high sense of urgencyMeet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysisMaintain accuracy of billable task against the scope of work to ensure correct and timely customer billing Balance the role of being a customer advocate with company objectives Supervisory Responsibilities:May occasionally supervise other employeesWill work in a matrixed organization to influence and lead employees or teams to meet well-established objectives in alignment with external customers Required Qualifications and Work Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience5-10 years’ experience in project managementSubject matter expert in project management methodologies and when to use them, e.g., waterfall, agile, scrum, critical path, lean, six sigmaEffective collaborative leadership style and experienceExcellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, and creative solution generationAbility to manage difficult customer communications with a level head, while creating win-win solutionsMust be able to effectively communicate and work closely with various cross-functional groups at multiple locationsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project, SharePoint, TeamsExceptional organization and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external partnersAbility to analyze trends, make recommendations and implement changes based on KPI Reporting Preferred Qualifications and Work Experience:Master’s Degree, in business or related fieldProject Management certification from a well-recognized organization10+ years’ experience in a MedTech environment 10+ years’ experience in customer management and demonstration of successful project managementExperience in contract engineering and manufacturing servicesManagement experience in leading engineering and manufacturing teamsExperience with DelmiaWorks (formerly IQMS) ERP Physical Demands:Comfortable with prolonged sitting and working at a computerAbility to enter and work in a cleanroom environment when required Work Environments:Physical Setting: Busy, professional office and manufacturing environment  Culture: A diverse and inclusive culture that respects and values individual contributions Dress Code: Business casual attire to promote a professional yet comfortable workplaceCore Business Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Additional Information:Occasional travel to customer sites may be required On-Site/Remote Attendance:This position requires 100% on-site attendance in Mansfield, Massachusetts
