Who knows where our shared journey will take you?We are looking for a Materials Manager based in our Hingham, MA location.The Materials Manager is responsible for the sourcing of needed materials for product production, and to have that material delivered to the factory in a timely fashion to support production schedules, and business objectives. They own Inventory levels and inventory turns, supplier on time delivery to Siemens required dates.ResponsibilitiesManages the materials function within Hingham ATS business considering manufacturing capacity, schedules workloads, recommends in house manufacturing vs. outsourcing, quality control and workforce balance.Establishes and maintains premier customer service.Leads all Supply Chain Management activities within the factory. This will include establishing preferred supplier selection criteria based on supplier evaluations of price, quality, delivery, certifications, compliance with governmental procurement regulations and group programs.Will establish and implement standard/automated re-order procedures. Will develop crisis management and supplier backup contingency programs, in conjunction with Strategic Procurement.Responsible for managing the factory operational inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels for immediate production items and forecasting for future requirements.Will establish and implement standard/automated delivery procedures for just in time supplier stocking items.Responsible for facilitation of the S&OP Process.Accountable for managing the factory’s overall strategic production planning practices taking into consideration short term/long term production requirements and integrating materials availability.Will establish and implement procedures for special order request, and coordinate engineering changes and part substitutions, and sales market demand for products.Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development.Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

5 years of experience of directing a team and 10 years of experience in Materials Management

ERP (Preferably SAP) experience

BS in Engineering or Operations Management

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Lean Six Sigma exposure and understanding

Experience with a high-volume manufacturing setting

Preferred knowledge, skills, or expertise

Preferred education and focus and/ or certification (if applicable)

The pay range for this position is $118K-$150K plus a 10% incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
