Description There is a need for a Tax Preparer with a firm in the Hanover, Massachusetts area. In this Tax Preparer role, you will be completing simple and complex State and Federal tax returns for individual and small business. Provide factual data into Tax software application
Complete and invoice for form preparation fees
Assemble transaction tax returns by hand utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
Aid clients with incoming calls to direct tax questions and set appointments
Touch base with clients to gather relevant information/documents
Be responsible for other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned Requirements - Spreadsheet and database capabilities
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask effectively
Prepare Tax Returns experience desired
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
