This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.Under general supervision, will be responsible for glass washing, autoclaving, bioreactor builds, bioreactor breakdowns, and general lab maintenance.What You’ll Do:

Perform daily and long-range activities defined by the scope of business.

Ensure compliance with all company policies, standards, and procedures.

Assist with reviewing and updating LIS and LTS equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures.

Track and report performance on quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Recommend corrective action to change and ensure contract requirements are executed above the specified standards.

Help with contractor specifications, problems, and issues, performance, and administration.

Confirm supply of spare parts and consumables are available.

Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Other Tasks Include:Glass Wash/Autoclaving

Washing lab glass and bioreactor glass and components

Autoclaving of glassware and built bioreactors

Monthly PM of glass washroom

Upstream Services

Building bioreactors

Breaking down bioreactors

Other:

Media disposal

Aliquoting and maintaining lab stocks

General lab maintenance

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

The minimum salary for the LIS/ Laboratory Technician position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for the LIS/ Laboratory Technician position is $75,000 annually. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
