To alleviate poverty, we deliver a variety of services including childcare, education, workforce development, nutrition, health, and community and housing support.Position Overview:Responsible for supporting staff and leadership with data resources and reports to advance agency-wide efforts to improve the client experience through a client centered, integrated service delivery approach. Responsible for helping staff, programs, leadership, and external partners improve data quality and optimize the use of data across the organization and within the bounds of policy and regulation. Play a key role in helping the organization formulate data-related goals and performance monitoring tools that align with the organization’s Mission and that, ultimately, benefit Making Opportunity Count’s clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead projects to build data sharing bridges between multiple databases by collaborating with internal and external partners to design and develop data bridges between systems including Child Care Head Start (ChildPlus), Behavioral Health (eHana), Elder Services (Wellsky), Family Resource Center (CRM) and other community services programs (ODS).
Develop custom data visualization tools to enable program and division level analysis by Mangers, Directors, and Vice Presidents.
Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless execution of projects, from developing project scopes and objectives to measuring project performance and reports to management.
Evaluate and monitor project outcomes using Agile methodology throughout the project life cycle to develop and monitor project outcomes, to assure project achievement, and to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
Automate manual processes, develop, deploy, and maintain data sharing bridges within a Python environment to automate data sharing process and save the labor effort.
Coordinate with external vendors to ensure compliance with industry and organizational standards for data management and security.
Telecommuting permitted.Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Analytics and Management or a related field, and two (2) years of experience improving data quality and
optimizing the use of data across an organization and within the bounds of policy and regulations
6 months of experience must include:
Conducting quantitative analysis including but not limited to trending, identification and assessment of opportunities and risk, forecasting, regressions, correlation modeling in Python.
Developing visual, interactive reports using Tableau for effective prediction and understanding of data analysis trends.
Defining and automating data pipeline in Python.
Generating and maintaining daily KPI manufacturing dashboards in Tableau.
Managing local database by cleaning, manipulating SAP data sources in Alteryx, using SQL queries to support global data team.
Predicting new materials factor results by using historical chemical data with Regression metric analysis.
Maintaining Power BI online Server as a site administrator by setting up user permissions, assigning Power BI projects and monitoring data source refresh schedules.
Supporting internal departments in need of data analysis, including developing Python scripts for applying classification, regression models, conducting statistical analyses, and creating various types of figures.
Updating monthly reports in Tableau.
This position will supervise other employees, including Data Technicians.
