Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Central, Massachusetts. The position involves managing various aspects of the organization's finances, including insurance policies, fixed assets, and data management. This role is a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage the organization's insurance policies. Collaborate with insurance agencies on claims management. Oversee the onboarding and disposal of fixed assets and rolling stock. Participate in safety and accident committees. Communicate with outside legal counsel as needed. Provide and maintain electronic data needed for insurance vehicle accident management. Participate in reporting. Perform other duties within finance and operations teams as needed. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Perform Data Entry.Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with billing procedures and data entry tasks Proven expertise in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Proven ability to perform Data Entry Experience in the Non-Profit industry is a plus Accounting Clerk experience is desirable Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Must have a commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and software Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
