Utility Worker- Kitchen Stewards (Overnight)

The Encore Boston Harbor Utility Worker will be responsible for clearing, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen areas.  The Utility Worker will transport materials and inventory in and out of banquet areas.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   Adheres to all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standardsActively contributes to the departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports.Follows all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide.Delivers and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction. Contributes to company-wide communication and best practices.Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.Cleans and maintains public area equipment and the assigned premises. Removes and compacts trash from floors.Keeps the department supply areas organized and clean.Performs inventories and deliver/stock supplies as required.Communicates politely and display courtesy to internal customers.Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information.Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure quality service.Routinely performs deep cleaning processes to ensure overall cleanliness of the property.Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
