Specialist - Title 31 Compliance

The Encore Boston Harbor Specialist - Title 31 Compliance is responsible for supporting compliance with Title 31 of the United States Code and the consistent application of related Massachusetts Gaming Commission Regulations. This position will carry out ongoing audits and transactional review of daily activities as well as special events, promotions and giveaway programs throughout the property to ensure they meet all regulatory requirements.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   Follows all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards. Participate in the execution of short-and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement.  Identifies key drivers of success.Actively contributes to departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports.Follows all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and property-wide controls.Delivers and maintains a maximum level of service. Contributes to company-wide communication and best practices.Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.Prepares legal compliance forms and ensure the accuracy of the information provided. Audits events and procedures to ensure compliance gaming regulations.Creates and files Currency Transaction Reports (CTR or FINCEN Form 1).Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
