Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Based out of the Devens, Massachusetts area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / contract opening. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Your responsibilities in this role

Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

Execute full-cycle A/P Requirements - 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

Detailed and have the ability work independently

Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

Coding Invoices experience preferred
