Description:Key Responsibilities: Assembly of fiber optic components requiring:o Handling Fibero Removing fiber sheathing using chemicalso Connector/Ferrule attach using epoxyo Connector/Ferrule polishing and inspectiono Cleaning of optical componentso Using tweezers to position, align and assemble very small optical components while working under a microscope Utilizing calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures to test and inspect fiber optic components Accurate data collection / data entry using electronic travelers. Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practice and proceduresSkills:microscope, fiber optic, medical device assembly, cleanroom, epoxyTop Skills Details:microscope,fiber optic,medical device assembly,cleanroom,epoxyAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required Skills: Detail oriented with experience in precise alignment of optical components while working under a microscope Great hand-eye coordination and dexterity skills for assembling very small components under a microscope. 2 years of related work experience desired. High School graduate or equivalent manufacturing experience required. Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
