Director of Accounting

Description Manufacturing/Distribution Company with 25+ year history and leader in their industry located in the Danvers area is looking for a Director of Accounting to join the leadership team due to recent growth and acquisitions. This will be the # 1 Finance person reporting directly into the President, managing a small staff and will be key Business Partner supporting Finance, HR and Operation functions. This role will have complete ownership of all financial statements, cash flow projections, financial forecasts, inventory management, account analysis, asset purchasing, HR, purchasing and oversight of transactional accounting activities. This person will also be the point person maintaining relationships with CPA firm, banks, key vendor relationships and Insurance contacts as well. Previous experience working for a Company in Manufacturing/Distribution sector with multi-site responsibilities is preferred. This position will require some travel (2-4 times a month) to get up to speed as Manufacturing operations are in Atlanta area. This position is also mostly remote at this time as well.
