Mechanical Engineering Intern

As activities are heavily project-determined, an intern could find themselves involved in different phases of the development cycle. Typical intern activities may include: early phase conceptualization and brainstorming collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams design and fabrication of prototype mechanical models/systems use of SolidWorks or other CAD programs for mechanical design development use of basic shop tools and equipment troubleshooting of models/systems testing/optimization of systems for subsequent commercialization interfacing directly with vendors and potentially clients developing code to interface with electromechanical systems or analyze datasets
