Ranked 35 among national universities, Boston College has 888 full-time and 1,281 FTE faculty, 2,711 non-faculty employees, an operating budget of $1.4 billion, and an endowment in excess of $3.5 billion.Job DescriptionThis Testing Coordinator position plays an integral role by coordinating the logistics of alternative testing services between faculty, staff, and students. CFLC proctors more than 6,000 exams per year for students with disabilities. All tasks require strong attention to detail, and an ability to work well with people in high-stress situations, and with people at all levels of the university. The role requires a high-level of professional interaction with CFLC staff, student users, CFLC student employees, other members of the campus community and visitors. The person in this role offers a number of key CFLC services and thus positive impressions are critical.Responsibilities:

Coordinate CFLC Testing Center operations between the hours of 8:45 to 4:45 Monday through Friday.

Assist with Organization and management of the testing process in the CFLC by processing student exam requests, acquiring and printing exams from professors.

Ensure security of exam materials and administration.

Communicate effectively and diplomatically with faculty, staff, and students in addressing CFLC testing guidelines and accommodation procedures.

Answer phones and serve as a first point of contact for the office.

Ability to work with little supervision and have a respect for confidentiality.
