Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer for our Chelmsford office. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise and specialized consulting skills in water and natural resources, including, but not limited to, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, riverine and coastal hydrodynamics, floodplain management, sediment transport and bridge scour, water quality, hydrogeology, and groundwater modeling.The individual who occupies this role will have experience with surface and groundwater models such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, SRH2D, HydroCAD, EPA BASINS, MODFLOW, MT3D, or similar. The ability to lead design projects on stormwater BMPs and site design is required, along with knowledge of NPDES discharge and land disturbance permits.This position demands strong GIS and CAD skills, extensive experience with quantitative analysis, technical writing, as well as demonstrated design experiences. Demonstrated experience in proposal development and project management is a plus. The ideal candidate will work productively in a collaborative team environment and be expected to provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff.QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review

Professional Engineer in New England States or be able to obtain such within 6 months of hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

7+ years of experience in Water Resources Management at a consulting firm.

OSHA 40-hr Hazardous Training HAZWOPER

Strong understanding of components related to Federal and Local laws
