Senior Traction Power Engineer

AECOM is seeking a highly talented Senior Traction Power Engineer to join our New England Transit Group. The qualified applicant must have knowledge of third rail systems and load flow study experience (performing load flow studies and analyzing them) is desired as well. The incumbent must have experience with projects including design and construction of commuter rail roads, new light rail and subway systems across the US.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:Meet schedule and budget constraints per project demands.Plan and design AC and DC electric power systems.Perform feasibility studies.Provide schedule input for design tasks and preparation of task budgets.Develop and review designs and construction drawings.Identify construction costs trending out of budget.Manage the preparation of milestone submittals.Review contractor submittals and support the installation of traction power systems components and software.Work with OCS engineers to coordinate work on all projects.Participate in project working meetings and manage meeting minute tasks.Produce construction specifications.Develop cost estimates and projections.
