Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to be based in the Chelmsford, Massachusetts office.This position is expected to begin in Spring 2025.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Assist in the planning and execution of geotechnical field exploration and laboratory test programs.Evaluate subsurface conditions to determine geotechnical engineering properties of soil and bedrock.Perform geotechnical analyses for shallow foundations including bearing capacity, sliding and settlement.Conduct seepage and stability analyses for dams, levees, tunnels and natural and man-made slopes.Design deep foundations for buildings, bridges, tanks, and other major structures.Assist in the preparation of geotechnical data reports, geotechnical design reports, and technical specifications.Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.
