We are Pilgrim Transit, a transportation company based on Cape Cod. We provide a broad range of rider services here on the Cape, the South Coast, and Boston. This is an in-office position located in beautiful Orleans, MA.
We are seeking an energetic individual who will be a Call Taker. In this role you will enjoy working with our passengers and drivers, as you support our Dispatchers and assist in coordinating the flow of communication.
Past experience is great – but anyone with the desire to help, listen, and learn new programs, is someone we want to be part of our team!
Incoming calls will be from passengers, driver associates and agencies we work with. We will teach you the software systems we use. The right candidates will be able to stay calm under pressure, answer all calls in a timely fashion, and respond in a pleasant and professional manner.
This is a key position within our company and all required training is paid by us!
The pace is fast, but fun, and as we continue to grow, there are strong opportunities for advancement.
