Assist the owner in managing the administrative side of the business. This is a one-person office that supports an independent contractor who services homeowners with repairs, maintenance, and improvements to their property.
Basic office duties include:
Maintain customer database and track each project from inquiry to completion.
Help prepare price quotes and contract proposals.
Coordinate the scheduling and production of projects.
Track all expenses and assign to respective projects.
Invoice customers for services performed and projects completed.
Manage accounts payable, processing payments when due.
Communicate with customers by phone and written correspondence.
Qualifications:
A positive "can-do" attitude is a must.
Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred but will train the right person with
an aptitude toward numbers and balancing a checkbook.
Need to be a self-starter that is organized and can work independently.
Part-time, 10 to 15 hours per week with flexible schedule as to days and hours worked each week.
