Readymade Gallery in Orleans MA is looking for a part-time Gallery Assistant to join our small team. This position is ideal for someone with an interest in contemporary art, curation, or creative community spaces.
Details:
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule:
Thursday & Sunday: 11 AM – 6 PM
Friday & Saturday: 2 PM – 6 PM
(Beginning in November, Thursdays will no longer be included.)
Responsibilities include:
Greeting visitors and sharing information about current exhibitions
Assisting with sales and maintaining the gallery space
Helping with exhibition setup and event support when needed
Preferred experience:
Background or coursework in Art, Art History, or Gallery work
Comfortable interacting with the public and maintaining a professional, welcoming atmosphere
